Juju is one of the popular black magic technique among African society. Juju, Voodoo, Hoodoo are diff. types of African black magic. Well educated, sophisticated and scientific people from westernized and developed countries might find this difficult to believe. I recently came across few books on this topic presented in a form of a folktales by famous and well known Marathi author - Mr. Vijay Deodhar.
British people narrated few of their experiences which are very well clubbed together by Mr. Deodhar. I guess, Wise fellow should never ever think of getting experience out of ! My initial though was in a way towards environmental friendly attitude. Worshiping that marvelous god given nature and divine beauty , the concepts might have passed generation to generation in a form of a folktales was my initial view. Aah...... But this is not the only purpose although. The tantric tricks, spells and witch crafts are still as powerful as they were before. Still conserved and passed on to next generations. This antient knowledge is still preserved and tought and practiced !
आफ्रिकेमध्ये प्रचलित काही काळ्या जादुपैकी जूजू हा एक प्रकार. जुजू , व्हुडू हे असे काही प्रकार आफ्रिकेत प्रचलित आहेत. सुशिक्षित , उचाभ्रू , शास्त्रीय दृष्टीकोन असणार्या पश्चिमेकडील प्रगत देशांना हे खरे वाटणे कठीणच. विजय देवधर या नामांकित मराठी लेखकांची या विषयावरील काही पुस्तके वाचण्यात आली. अनुभव घेण्याच्या वाट्याला शहाण्यांनी न गेलेलेच बरे . प्रचलित कथा निसर्ग निर्मित सौंदर्याचे आणि जीव सृष्टीचे रक्षण करावे यासाठीच लोकाकाथान्म्धून पिढ्यान पिढ्या चालत आल्या असाव्यात असे वाटते. मात्र तेथिल तंत्र -मंत्र , चेटूक , करणी भलत्याच प्रभावशाली आहेत. म्ह्न्त्वचे म्हणजे काळाच्या ओघात नष्ट न होता , अजूनही पिढ्यान पिढ्या ही विद्या जतन करीत आल्या आहेत.
